August launches August for Agents so client AI agents can call law firm services
Legal AI platform August launched August for Agents, Artificial Lawyer reported on September 29, 2026. The feature lets company AI agents in procurement, sales, and other workflows send bounded legal questions to services built and supervised by the client's chosen law firm, with firm lawyers remaining responsible for the advice. Co-founder Thomas Bueler-Faudree said agents keep hitting questions only a lawyer should answer, and the product gives those agents a governed path to the client's firm.
