Cleary Gottlieb hires Simpson Thacher private equity partner Mark Pflug
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has hired Mark Pflug, a private equity partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, for its Americas M&A and private equity transactions groups in New York. Pflug advises private equity sponsors across the life cycle of their portfolio company investments, Cleary said. He is Cleary's fourth private equity partner hire this year as the firm builds out its transactional bench.
