EPA approves Missouri rule narrowing construction permit exemptions for emergency generators and lead
EPA approved Missouri's revised construction permit exemptions rule, 10 CSR 10-6.061, into the state's Clean Air Act implementation plan, effective November 9, 2026. Sources must now meet added criteria to use the emergency generator exemption, which is narrower for sites with several generators, and the lead exemption threshold is tightened; EPA said the revision adds no new exemptions.
