Indiana governor extends gas tax suspension through Nov. 4
Indiana Governor Mike Braun signed Executive Order 26-33 on September 30, 2026, renewing the state's energy emergency for 30 days, Oct. 6 through Nov. 4, in all counties. The Gasoline Use Tax and Gasoline Excise Tax are suspended for that period, and the Department of Revenue must not collect them. WDRB reported it is the sixth extension of a holiday that began in April.
