Minnesota eases harvest-hauler weight limits and fuel-transport hours through Oct. 31
Gov. Tim Walz signed Emergency Executive Order 26-11 on Oct. 1, 2026, effective immediately, directing MnDOT to issue a temporary emergency harvest permit so vehicles hauling corn, soybeans, wheat, potatoes, sugar beets, carrots and forest products may exceed regular weight limits. The order also relieves fuel carriers from certain hours-of-service rules and runs until rescinded or Oct. 31, 2026.
