NautaDutilh launches Bluefield to build its own software alongside commercial legal AI

Dutch law firm NautaDutilh has launched Bluefield, an initiative to rapidly build bespoke software tailored to its practice groups, workflows, data and client needs, while continuing to buy leading commercial AI products. Bluefield is not itself an AI platform; AI will speed development, but finished tools may or may not use it. Software engineer Elgar Weijtmans joins November 1 as the firm's first non-lawyer partner.
