Schwabe publishes alert on proposed GSA schedule ordering changes
Schwabe said it published an alert by Christopher Slottee on GSA’s September 22 proposal (GSAR Case 2026-G501) to move Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures from FAR subpart 8.4 to GSAR subpart 538.71, alongside the FAR Council’s companion rewrite of FAR Part 8. The firm said small-business set-asides on schedule orders would remain discretionary, BPA reserves for small business would be preserved, and comments are due October 19 and October 22.
