Maryland Supreme Court removes Anne Arundel Orphans' Court chief judge Vickie Gipson
The Supreme Court of Maryland on October 5, 2026, ordered the immediate removal of Anne Arundel County Orphans' Court Chief Judge Vickie Gipson for what it called egregious misconduct, adopting the recommendation of the state Commission on Judicial Disabilities.
