New Mountain takes minority stake in Appleby offshore legal platform
On September 14, 2026 offshore law and fiduciary firm Appleby said affiliates of New Mountain Capital will take a minority interest in a new Cayman Islands company that will indirectly hold Appleby Global Group LLC. Appleby partners retain majority ownership; Malcolm Moller becomes CEO on completion.
